The Evolution of
Saskarc Group
1991
Saskarc Formed
Saskarc becomes a welding company. Work is carried out in a facility 2 miles out of Oxbow, Saskatchewan.
1994
Saskarc Expands
Saskarc expands and moves to a new facility in Oxbow, SK.
1997
Incorporated
Saskarc becomes a corporation. An addition was added to the current facility to provide more room for project demands.
2003
US Growth
Saskarc becomes an international manufacturer, shipping fabrications to the United States for power stations.
2007
New Shop
Saskarc expands once again to a large modern facility with 14 acres of yard laydown storage space and an area for blasting and painting.
2012
Growing Team
Saskarc Industries reaches 50 employees. In order to better serve their industrial customers and deliver more value, Saskarc Equipment Group, specializing in site equipment sales and rentals, is formed.
2012
Launched as an Equipment Rental Company
Axiom focused on large remote projects that needed site support equipment. The equipment supplied was primarily generators, light towers, air compressors, pumps, and heaters.
2013
Assembly Shop
Saskarc Fabrication assembly shop is built to meet the growing project demands bringing the total square footage at Saskarc to 52,000 with 6 overhead cranes.
2014
100 Employees
Saskarc reaches 100 employees. Saskarc Equipment Group opens a branch in Leduc, AB to better serve their Alberta customers.
2016
SafeSmart Access
Saskarc Equipment becomes the official Canadian supplier of SafeSmart Access.

25 Years
Saskarc Industries celebrates 25 years!
2017
Avro GSE
Saskarc identifies a gap in the aviation industry and forms Avro GSE, a ground support equipment supplier with a strong emphasis on fleet tracking and managed maintenance.
2018
Axiom Equipment Group
Saskarc Equipment merges with Axiom Lift Equipment to form Axiom Equipment Group.
2018
Secured its First Largest Project as a Rental Company
Secured a deal for the Keeyask Hydro Dam in Northern Manitoba, a project worth a total of over $8B.

Restructure to Saskarc Group
The company is restructured, and Saskarc Group is formed acting as a parent company to its subsidiaries, Saskarc Inc, Axiom Equipment Group, Avro GSE and SafeSmart Access.

Acquired Warehouse Facility & Began the Journey of Transitioning to a Manufacturer-Supplier
When Saskarc Equipment merged with Axiom, the team worked out of the Saskarc building. As operations expanded, Axiom purchased its own warehouse facility, which was a huge step forward! This was essential to their journey of becoming a manufacturer-supplier and switching out of being an equipment rental company

The Saskarc Group family expanded with the incorporation of SafeSmart Access - Canada on December 2023.

Saskarc expanded again by adding an additional 14,000 square feet of indoor fabrication space and several pieces of cutting-edge processing equipment.
